Following a rich and rewarding career in arts, education, and the arts administration in Connecticut, Cindy now resides in Brevard North Carolina. her mixed media color, drenched, contemporary artwork is inspired by local scenes.

A watercolor artist from Hendersonville NC, Simone Wood focuses on avian subjects in her signature Haiku style. Choosing to leave out complicated backrounds, she incorporates the white space with splattering to create movement and interest.

Kathy relocated to Brevard in 2013 from Dallas, Texas, where she had practiced law for almost 20 years. While in Dallas, she also worked as a wedding and event photographer. Since relocating to Brevard, Kathy’s photography focus has shifted to macro photography, and to teaching photography and post-processing classes
